Job description

JOB TITLE: Senior Planning Analyst JOB DUTIES
  1. Collect and analyze sell-in forecasts from the sales team, transforming these data points into comprehensive supply forecasts using Data Analysis (Excel). Ensure these forecasts account for arrival schedules, existing inventory levels, and potential market fluctuations to maintain an optimal Demand & Supply Planning.
  2. Evaluate orders with the factory based on its production capacity & capability under Production & Capacity Planning. Strategically schedule orders to align with customer demand while minimizing inventory costs. This involves close coordination with the factory & internal teams under Cross-functional Coordination, ensuring timely & efficient production planning while avoiding overstock & stockouts.
  3. Update & maintain daily inventory reports using ERP Systems (SAP) & Data Analysis (Excel), providing accurate & timely data on current inventory levels. Monitor inventory turnover rates; apply Inventory Management principles to ensure efficient use of resources. Collaborate with the sales team; develop strategies for managing & reducing aging inventory, optimizing stock levels & improving overall inventory health.
  4. Work closely with various departments, including sales, production, and logistics, under Cross-functional Coordination, to align supply chain activities with overall business goals. Foster strong communication channels to facilitate smooth flow of information; address any supply chain issues promptly.
  5. Identify opportunities for process improvements within the supply chain; implement best practices and innovative solutions. Enhance forecasting accuracy under Demand & Supply Planning, improve inventory control under Inventory Management; optimize order fulfillment processes to increase overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Develop & implement Production planning strategies to improve operational efficiency, throughput & order fulfillment performance.
  7. Design & implement inventory optimization frameworks, including safety stock modeling & reorder point analysis, applying Inventory Management and optimization, Inventory reporting, and Data Analysis (Excel; Power BI) to support efficient inventory positioning.
  8. Lead cross-functional coordination by consolidating inputs from sales, operations & finance teams under aligning demand, supply & business objectives.
  9. Identify constraints & conduct supply chain risk assessment by analyzing demand variability, supply disruptions & capacity constraints using Data Analysis (Excel; Power BI) and Supply chain risk assessment, while applying Production & Capacity Planning and Demand & Supply Planning to develop mitigation strategies ensuring operational continuity.
  10. Lead Supply chain process improvement initiatives and planning system enhancements, including automation, data integration & workflow optimization, leveraging ERP Systems (SAP), and Data Analysis (Excel; Power BI) to drive operational efficiency.
  11. Develop and maintain supply chain KPI development & performance tracking frameworks using Data Analysis (Excel; Power BI) & Inventory reporting to measure forecasting accuracy, planning efficiency & overall supply chain performance.
  12. Utilize MS Excel and Power BI to prepare executive-level summaries, dashboards, and planning insights, applying & integrating outputs from ERP Systems (SAP) to support data-driven decision-making across the supply chain.
  13. Provide data-driven recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic supply chain planning & continuous improvement initiatives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

At least a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a closely related field, plus minimum Two years of post-baccalaureate experience working as Supply Chain Planning Analyst, Supply Chain Analyst, Logistics Analyst, Logistics Engineers, or closely related positions. Foreign degree equivalent is acceptable. We will also accept any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience. Experience should include working on Demand and Supply Planning; Production and Capacity Planning; Inventory Management; Inventory reporting; Cross-functional Coordination; order fulfillment processes optimization; Monitoring inventory turnover rates; Supply chain process improvement; working with Data Analysis Excel, and ERP Systems (SAP).
