To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Production Planning Administrator located in Columbia, SC.

Reporting to the Materials Planning Manager the Production Planning Administrator role is responsible for performing the administrative tasks relating to production planning.

What a typical day looks like:

  • 1st Point of contact for Leads and Ops/ Stock Room/ Receiving by being on the Floor.
  • Serve as Eyes and Ears of the Line to Production Planning/ Master Scheduling
  • Working knowledge of Primary/ Secondary Lines to ensure continuous coverage
  • Communication Link with Production Planning/ Scheduling
  • Release/Print/ Post Work Orders
  • Owner/ Report out at MDI Board on Inventory Section
  • Inventory/ Red/ Green from Previous Day
  • Inventory Trend CTB %
  • Inventory Trending Causes
  • MDI Actions
  • X to Y by Z Who does what by when
  • Owner, QTY, ETA, Tracking
  • Any Red condition/ 15-day shortage- likely an action needed.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Typically requires 4-6 years of related experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
