About the Job:

The Sampling Oscilloscopes Product Planner plays a key strategic role in defining, shaping, and driving Keysight's portfolio optical and electrical sampling oscilloscopes, and associated software applications.

This position sits at the intersection of high-speed optical and electrical measurement technologies, enabling the validation and deployment of next-generation AI data center, networking, semiconductor, and communication infrastructures. You will shape solutions supporting 224G, 448G, 896G, and future Tb/s interconnect technologies, as well as emerging applications such as Co-Packaged Optics (CPO), silicon photonics, advanced packaging, and ultra-high-speed electrical interfaces.

Partnering with R&D, marketing, sales, manufacturing, and strategic customers, you will drive product strategy, roadmap development, and business growth for Keysight's sampling oscilloscope product family. This role requires a strong understanding of optical communications, photonic integration, signal integrity, and the evolving requirements of next-generation data center and networking ecosystems.

About the Team:

You will join a highly motivated, international, cross functional team within Keysight's Digital and Photonics – Center of Excellence, collaborating with experts across high-performance R&D, systems engineering, and product marketing. The team operates with a strong innovation mindset, leveraging deep technical expertise to drive industry leading signal generation and analysis platforms.


Responsibilities
  • Own the short- and long-term roadmap and strategy for Keysight’s optical and electrical sampling oscilloscope portfolio, and associated software applications.
  • Define product requirements and growth strategies for waveform analysis, transmitter characterization, and advanced photonics testing applications.
  • Drive roadmap planning for optical and electrical measurement solutions supporting multi-level PAM signaling such as PAM4, PAM6 and PAM8, co-packaged optics (CPO), silicon photonics, and future photonic integration technologies.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis, competitive assessments, and monitor industry trends in target domains such as next-generation 224G, 448G, 896G, and future Tb/s interconnect technologies.
  • Define and prioritize requirements across key application segments including component characterization, design validation, compliance testing, manufacturing test, and research applications.
  • Identify emerging opportunities for innovation and strategic investment based on evolving industry requirements and nextgeneration standards.
  • Collaborate with ecosystem partners to define end-to-end signal integrity and compliance workflows spanning transmitter, channel, and receiver validation.
  • Influence industry standards, technology directions, and measurement methodologies related to high-speed serial interfaces, silicon photonics, CPO, optical interconnects, and AI data center infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with Keysight’s global crossfunctional teams including R&D, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Sales to ensure effective execution of the growth strategy and successful market launches of new products and solutions.
  • Develop business cases, market forecasts, and strategic recommendations that support Keysight's long-term leadership in optical communications and photonics measurement technologies.
  • Represent Keysight at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events, delivering presentations, engaging with customers and partners, and promoting Keysight’s leadership in high-speed electrical and optical test solutions.
