Job description

Metro Services is looking to hire Production Operators for a Manufacturing company in Kokomo, IN. This is a temp-to-hire position. Apply Now!

Duties for this position include:
 
  • Operator manufacturing equipment
  • Conduct quality checks
  • Basic troubleshooting and equipment maintenance throughout the production process
  • Collect qualifying products and package them for shipment
  • Monitor and interact with computerized manufacturing equipment to produce batteries and check equipment regularly to ensure standard operating activity
  • Check all work orders, instructions, and specifications on the production check sheet before starting every production lot

Compensation (USD):

$16.50/hour

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Clean Background and Drug Screen
  • Flexible with work schedule, working OT when needed
  • Work in hot and cold environments
  • Wear all safety equipment, including safety glasses, sleeve protectors, earplugs, and steel-toe shoes
  • Stand or walk for long periods each day
  • Frequently bend, stoop, reach, and lift to 40 pounds
  • Work in tight or closed spaces
