Job Summary: Production Operators are responsible for the daily operation of the manufacturing process and equipment at the Roseburg Chester Engineered Wood site. The facility in Chester was opened in 2019, and is a robust, modernized, and highly automated production environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Works safely and effectively in a team environment
• Performs pre-shift checklist on equipment and surroundings
• Demonstrates proper housekeeping and keeps a clean work space
• Continuously improves processes and procedures in work area
• Documents & keeps record of shift or machine performance
• Actively trains new team members
• Operates Sweeper, forklift, front end loaders, skid steer loader, articulating lift, and to climb a variety of ladders and stairs throughout mill location
• Attends meetings and trainings as needed
• Problem-solves and troubleshoots equipment and production issues on a regular basis
• Performs routine maintenance on assigned equipment
• Operates a variety of different hand tools. Some examples include but not limited to: shovel, broom, air hose, various types of brushes, and etc.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

• All applicants must pass a drug screen and background check
• Must be able to continually stand/walk on concrete and/or other hard surfaces
• Must have excellent attendance
• Must be able to work 8, 10 and 12 hour days, 2nd shift or 3rd shift Mon-Sun
• Pass a general math skills evaluation
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
