What You'll Do

Pelican is looking for a detail-driven Returns Coordinator to own and optimize the returns process within our distribution operation. In this role, you’ll be at the center of product flow—managing returned inventory, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring products are processed accurately and efficiently. You’ll work closely with warehouse teams and cross-functional partners to improve workflows, maintain inventory integrity, and deliver a high level of service.

  • Own the end-to-end returns process—from receiving and inspection to disposition and inventory updates
  • Verify product condition and ensure compliance with quality and operational standards
  • Process and track returns within inventory and order management systems with speed and accuracy
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to returns, inventory, and order fulfillment
  • Repack, relabel, and return approved products to inventory while coordinating disposition of damaged materials
  • Monitor return workflows and prioritize activities to meet service expectations and deadlines
  • Partner with Warehouse, Quality, and Customer Service teams to resolve issues and improve customer experience
  • Perform audits and spot checks to ensure compliance with SOPs and inventory accuracy
  • Identify trends and opportunities for process improvement while escalating risks when needed
  • Train and support team members on returns procedures and quality standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

 

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, returns processing, or inventory control.
  • Experience coordinating workflows or processes within a distribution or operational environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with warehouse management or inventory systems.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and functions.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple workflows, and operate in a fast-paced environment.
