  • Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple shifts, including workforce planning, inventory coordination, procurement support, production scheduling, quality initiatives, and shipping/receiving activities.
  • Communicate clear goals and expectations to department leaders and team members to support overall business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, safety, and security policies and procedures.
  • Partner with quality and operations teams to maintain high standards for product and service delivery.
  • Drive operational excellence through process improvements, performance metrics, and adherence to company policies.
  • Lead staffing and workforce planning efforts, partnering with Human Resources to support recruiting, onboarding, retention, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Manage and develop department leaders and large cross-functional teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Monitor budgets, labor utilization, and operational costs while identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Serve as a key decision-maker, resolving operational challenges and removing obstacles that impact productivity and service levels.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop employees to strengthen leadership capabilities and support career growth.
  • Encourage employee involvement in identifying process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Act as a resource for troubleshooting operational issues and implementing sustainable solutions.
  • Develop, review, and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Conduct regular audits and performance reviews to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and operational goals are achieved.
  • Evaluate staffing levels, scheduling, and overtime requirements to effectively support business demands.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate and reinforce workplace expectations, policies, and procedures.
  • Utilize Lean, Continuous Improvement, and operational excellence methodologies to improve business processes.
  • Support compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements as applicable.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 6+ years of experience leading operations, manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, procurement, or business operations teams.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large teams, developing leaders, and driving operational performance.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and matrixed environment.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience handling employee relations matters, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational development initiatives in partnership with Human Resources.
  • Experience leveraging metrics, KPIs, and process improvement methodologies to drive business results.
