DESCRIPTION
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Production Line Leader will work under the supervision of the Production Manager assisting with production line needs. In addition, the Production Line Leader will oversee a group of production packers and loaders on the production line.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee production line to ensure standards are met
  • Verify that products are being produced and packaged in accordance to specifications
  • Assist with training new production employees
  • Quickly troubleshoot issues and keep production line moving efficiently
  • Review, check and sign off on work completed by production employees
  • Communicate with Production Manager on any line issues
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
  • Previous production line lead or leadership experience is required
  • Direct produce experience is preferred but not required
  • Must have the physical ability to read labels efficiently
  • Must have basic math skills
  • Must have excellent communication & teamwork skills
  • Must have a strong sense of detail and observation skills
  • Must be willing to work with and manage a diverse workforce
