This individual will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, leading and developing production staff, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring quality and safety standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a manufacturing setting and is passionate about continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all second shift production operations to ensure daily production goals and customer deadlines are achieved.
- Lead, coach, and mentor production supervisors and hourly employees to promote accountability, teamwork, and high performance.
- Monitor productivity, workflow, and production metrics while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Partner with Quality, Purchasing, Inventory, and Logistics teams to ensure production runs smoothly and customer expectations are met.
- Address production challenges quickly by implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and improve output.
