As member of the operations team the production manager is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process of customized products according to customer specifications and quality standards. The production supervisor coordinates within production and production planning, to ensure timely and efficient production. The production supervisor also manages the staff, equipment, and inventory of the production floor.
How You'll Make an Impact
* Plan, schedule, and monitor the production of engineers to order products based on customer orders and deadlines.
* Supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of production staff, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and productivity policies and procedures.
* Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or problems that arise during the production process, communicating with the engineering, sales, and purchasing departments as needed. Ensure that the production equipment and tools are properly maintained and calibrated and report any malfunctions or defects to the maintenance department.
* Effectively manage a workforce to accomplish daily, monthly, and annual targets, maintain workflow by monitoring process and eliminating bottlenecks.
* Continuous improvement using Lean techniques and d igitalization.
* Maintain great employee relations by providing feedback, coaching, training, and development, ensure that the production floor is clean, organized, and safe, and adhere to environmental and health standards and regulations.
What You Bring
* Bachelor's or associate degree in a technical, engineering, or relevant field
* Minimum of 3- 5 years' experience as Production Supervisor or similar role
* Excellent Communication Skills
* Proven ability to lead a team and drive results.
