As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to join our team.
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Production Manager at FASTSIGNS Aiken. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of management experience, with exposure to sign and vinyl production, graphic design, or printing as a significant advantage. The chosen candidate will be able to support the team as a working manager and fill in as needed to complete various production tasks.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day production operations.
  • Ensure production schedules are met, and quality standards are maintained.
  • Ensure that the FASTSIGNS process is followed.
  • Track WIP and projects utilizing our point of sale software system.
  • Supervise and lead a team of production staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflow and optimize production processes.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate supplies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
  • Train and develop staff to enhance their skills and productivity.
  • Interview and hire additional staff as needed.
  • Complete periodic performance reviews with existing staff.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a management role.
  • Previous experience in sign and vinyl production, graphic design, or printing is a significant plus.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technology.

Travel:
  • Chosen candidate must complete Production Manager Boot Camp in Carrolton, TX within 6 months of hire date.
  • Local travel in the Aiken / Augusta area is occasionally required to supervise installations and visit clients.
  • Overnight travel may be required to attend training, conventions, or trade shows. Usually once per year.
  • Total travel time is less than 5%.
