Insight Global is seeking a Production Manager for a leading manufacturing organization in Calgary, AB. This individual will oversee all production operations across a 120-person manufacturing facility operating on multiple shifts. Responsibilities include leading daily production meetings, monitoring production performance, identifying and eliminating bottlenecks, optimizing staffing levels, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the operation. The Production Manager will work closely with supervisors, team leads, engineering, quality, and procurement teams to improve efficiency, increase production capacity, and enhance overall operational performance. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on building processes, empowering front-line leaders, and creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. The role is fully onsite Monday through Friday.


Must Haves

  • 5+ years of manufacturing, production, plant, or operations leadership experience managing large teams (80+ employees)
  • Experience leading supervisors and team leads within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong production planning, workforce planning, and operational management experience
  • Proven ability to identify bottlenecks, implement corrective actions, and improve production performance
  • Experience driving Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or operational excellence initiatives
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, quality, procurement, and operations teams
  • Strong leadership, communication, and employee development skills
  • Process-oriented mindset with a focus on accountability, empowerment, and operational efficiency


Plusses

  • Electronics manufacturing or PCB assembly experience
  • Experience within OEM, plastics, precision manufacturing, or other complex manufacturing environments
