General Purpose:
The Director of Production serves under the Executive leadership and provides vision, leadership, and oversight for all production environments across the church. This role exists to create excellent, distraction-free experiences where people can encounter the presence of God, while building systems, teams, and environments that support growth and consistency.
Essential Job Functions:
Vision & Leadership
  • Set and lead the overall vision for production across all services, campuses, and events
  • Ensure alignment with the church's mission
  • Continuously evaluate and improve production environments and experiences.

Production Oversight
  • Oversee all production elements including audio, video, lighting, and broadcast
  • Ensure excellence and consistency in all worship experiences and events
  • Provide high-level direction for service programming and production standards

Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead and develop Directors, Coordinators, staff, and volunteer teams within production
  • Build a healthy, scalable team structure that supports current and future growth
  • Provide coaching, leadership development, and clear direction across all levels

Systems & Strategy
  • Oversee production systems, infrastructure, and technology across the organization
  • Develop and implement processes that improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability
  • Stay current with industry trends and introduce tools that enhance ministry impact

Budget & Stewardship
  • Develop and manage the production budget with strong stewardship
  • Oversee equipment purchases, upgrades, and long-term planning
  • Ensure proper care and management of all production resources

Collaboration & Alignment
  • Partner with Worship, Communications, and ministry leaders to support cohesive experiences
  • Ensure production effectively supports all church-wide initiatives and campaigns
  • Serve as the primary leader for production in cross-departmental planning
