Position Details
Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Chicago Heights, IL 60411
Assignment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Shift: 6:00am - 6:00pm
Pay Rate: $16.50–$19.00/hr (Depending on Experience)
Job Summary
The Machine Operator  works primarily at the start of the pizza assembly line. This role is responsible for handling and maintaining a steady flow of toppings—such as pepperoni, sausage, cheese, and other ingredients—to support smooth and continuous production. The operator must monitor product levels, communicate supply needs promptly, and maintain consistent speed, accuracy, and food quality throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently at the beginning of the production line.
  • Handle and replenish toppings or ingredients as needed to maintain production flow.
  • Monitor supply levels and communicate any shortages to leads or supervisors.
  • Maintain a steady pace, accuracy, and quality throughout the shift.
  • Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and established safety procedures.
  • Support team goals while demonstrating ownership and accountability for production output.
 
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • REQUIRED: 1–2 years of experience in a production machine operator.
