Paint Line Associate (1st Shift)
Location: Rantoul, IL
Pay: $21.04 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Overtime may be required.)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Paint Line Associate to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing products while maintaining quality standards and ensuring a safe, efficient work environment. Candidates with experience painting houses, wood products, cabinets, furniture, or working in an industrial paint booth are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare products and surfaces for painting.
  • Apply paint using spray equipment and other painting methods as required.
  • Operate and work safely within a paint booth environment.
  • Inspect painted products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Maintain consistent paint coverage, finish quality, and color accuracy.
  • Perform masking, sanding, and other surface preparation duties.
  • Follow all safety procedures when handling paints, coatings, and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist with production and other departmental duties as assigned.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
  • Previous painting experience is required.
  • Experience painting wood products, cabinets, furniture, or residential/commercial houses is preferred.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing paint booth is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
