Job description

Lead and coordinate production line activities to meet daily schedules and output goals.
Train, mentor, and provide direction to production line employees, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
Ensure adherence to company policies, USDA regulations, food safety protocols (HACCP), and sanitation standards.
Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs or downtime issues promptly.
Perform and verify quality control checks at critical stages of production to ensure compliance with product specifications.
Maintain accurate production records, inventory tracking, and shift documentation.
Identify process improvements and participate in initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
Promote and enforce a safe working environment; conduct safety checks and encourage team compliance with PPE and safety procedures.
Assist with onboarding and cross-training of new team members.
Act as the primary communication point between hourly staff and upper management for the assigned line.
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or vocational training preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a food or meat manufacturing environment.
At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge of USDA regulations, HACCP principles, GMPs, and food safety practices.
