Job Summary: As a Lead Production Associate, you will guide and coach your team on the production line to ensure maximum productivity and safety. Working alongside your colleagues, you'll model best practices for GMP, SQF, and PPE policies while collaborating closely with supervisors.

Shifts Available: 

Monday & Tuesday, Thursday & Friday - 7:00am to 5:30pm

Thursday to Sunday - 7:00pm to 5:30am 

You will...

  • Guide and instruct team members on tasks like assembly and single-piece flow.
  • Foster positive employee relations through respectful communication.
  • Track line counts and report performance metrics accurately.
  • Train new hires on SOPs and coach existing staff on company policies.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
  • Identify and report defective materials or safety concerns to Quality Assurance.
  • Perform production duties alongside the team as needed.
  • Update production data in the computer system (requires basic typing skills).
  • Prepare ingredients using tools like food scales and measuring cups when required.

  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to foster teamwork.
  • Strong time management skills to keep the team on task and meet deadlines.
  • Clear and diplomatic communication style.
  • Basic math proficiency (fractions, multiplication, etc.).
  • High school diploma/GED and ideally 1+ year of related experience.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing area with temperatures between 10º and 40ºF. This role requires standing and walking for 10-12 hours per shift. You must be able to regularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
