Inventory Control / Shipping Clerk - LiquidPiston
This role is fully onsite in Bloomfield, CT, five days per week. The company will be relocating to Suffield, CT later in 2026.

Position Summary:
The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, supporting cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and assisting with the efficient flow of materials throughout the organization. 
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/MRP/Excel systems 
  • Perform daily inventory transactions including receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments 
  • Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits 
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and identify root causes 
  • Assist with inventory reconciliation and reporting 
  • Ship to customers and suppliers 
  • Support purchasing and materials teams with inventory data 
  • Receive all engine build inventory items
  • Process incoming material documentation and verify quantities 
  • Label, organize, and maintain inventory locations 
  • Assist with warehouse organization and material identification 
  • Communicate inventory concerns to purchasing, production, and management teams 
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required 
  • 1-3 years of inventory, warehouse, purchasing, or manufacturing experience preferred 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Basic understanding of inventory control principles 
  • Experience with ERP/MRP/Excel systems preferred 
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills 
  • Ability to perform basic data analysis and reporting 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office 
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
