Overall Purpose:
The Sr. Inventory Control Specialist will manage all aspects of inventory control to ensure the right quantities of material, parts and assemblies are available at the right locations. This role supports operational efficiency and cost management by maintaining accurate inventory and minimizing stock discrepancies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accurate inventory levels within the ERP system
  • Manage the full inventory control lifecycle: receipts, put away, bin management, cycle counts, physical inventory audits, reconciliation of variances.
  • Analyze inventory data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Set up and track inventory metrics and KPIs
  • Coordinate with Production Control to align material flow, forecasted demands, and inventory stocking levels.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and sustaining inventory equipment (in coordination with IT and/or Process Improvement and/or Vendors)
  • Optimize physical inventory layout to improve picking efficiency and space utilization
  • Drive process and system improvements to support production ramp up and scalability
  • Monitor inventory levels across all inventory to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize shortages and overages
  • Track material movement, lot control, and traceability for all inventory
  • Ensure accurate and on time delivery of components to the Production Floor
  • Coordinate and participate in annual inventory audit
  • Review weekly shortage and overage reports for all purchasing components
  • Ensure the supply of Kanban materials to the Production Floor is sustained
  • Adhere to 5S Standards
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, policies for attendance and punctuality and standards for safety.

Other Duties:
  • Provides support for project completion or other duties based on the needs of Hydraflow

Position Requirements
Qualification Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing and inventory environment required
  • Experience in managing raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, forecasting, and reporting
  • Cost accounting experience
  • Familiarity with lot traceability
  • Hands on experience using an ERP system for inventory transactions
  • Strong problem solving skills and decision making abilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English (able to read, speak, write and understand)
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident)
