About the Role:

The Inventory and Replenishment Manager at Kalmbach Feeds, Inc. plays a critical role in ensuring products and materials are available at the right time, in the right quantities, and at the optimal cost to support business operations and customer demand. This position is responsible for overseeing inventory levels, forecasting replenishment needs, managing supplier relationships, and implementing inventory control strategies to minimize shortages, excess stock, and operational disruptions. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, supply chain expertise, and leadership abilities to drive efficiency, improve inventory accuracy, and support overall business performance in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead Inventory and replenishment team to ensure proper execution of the daily inventory process
  • Drive replenishment strategy across multiple product categories, locations, and demand profiles
  • Develop and refine systems, tools, and processes to improve overall accuracy, efficiency and execution of the inventory and replenishment processes
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations. Analyze inventory performance and make recommendations for replenishment strategies.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align inventory plans with business needs
  • Work collaboratively with area department leaders to refine inventory processes
  • Work alongside the inventory and replenishment team to execute on daily tactical tasks
  • Develop, track, and refine departmental KPI’s to drive efficiency, accuracy, and accountability
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities
  • Coordinate team schedules, to ensure coverage in all areas

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of supply chain optimization techniques
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with ERP or procurement software
  • Power BI experience preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience in supply chain planning or inventory with demonstrated experience driving process improvements and leading teams
