Job Type: Temporary Assignment
Work Date: Sunday, August 16th & Thursday, August 20th

Pay Rate: $18.00

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Moving Helpers for a one-day assignment assisting with college student move-in. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy physical work, can follow directions, and work well in a team environment. No previous moving experience is required—we will provide direction on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, and transport boxes, furniture, and personal belongings safely.
  • Assist with packing, organizing, and moving items while preventing damage.
  • Follow instructions from the moving supervisor and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Provide courteous and professional customer service to students, families, and staff.
  • Work cooperatively with team members to complete move-in activities.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work area throughout the shift.
  • Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, carry, push, and pull items throughout the entire shift.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Must successfully pass a 7-year criminal background check.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work the full scheduled shift.
  • Moving, warehouse, or general labor experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently lift and carry boxes, furniture, and other household items.
  • Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the day.
  • Work both indoors and outdoors as needed.
