What You’ll Do
- Read, understand, and accurately follow recipes, production sheets, and preparation instructions.
- Prepare, cook, bake, mix, portion, wrap, label, and store food products according to company standards.
- Safely operate kitchen and bake shop equipment including ovens, mixers, scales, slicers, processing equipment, and other production tools.
- Maintain quality standards for raw ingredients and finished products.
- Follow daily production schedules and assist departments based on business demands.
- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, HACCP, FDA, CGMP, and ServSafe guidelines.
- Record temperatures, production logs, and required documentation accurately and on time.
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations, storage areas, coolers, freezers, and production spaces.
- Assist with opening and closing duties according to department checklists.
- Receive, check in, organize, and properly store deliveries and supplies.
- Assist with inventory counts, product transfers, and stock rotation.
- Communicate production concerns, supply needs, equipment issues, and product shortages to leadership.
- Work collaboratively with team members across departments to support efficient operations.
- Interact professionally and positively with guests when needed in guest-visible production areas.
- Follow proper handling procedures for raw and ready-to-eat foods.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary recipes and company processes.
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation duties throughout and at the end of shifts.
- Assist in other food service-related areas as assigned.
- Must wear nonskid shoes and required safety equipment.
- Perform all other duties as required or assigned.
