Job Description Our client is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of buildings, infrastructure, and industrial equipment. They are a rapidly growing industrial products manufacturer that has built a strong reputation for producing durable components that support essential industrial operations across multiple sectors. This role ensures facilities remain safe, compliant, efficient, and fully operational.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in facility management, industrial equipment maintenance, and leading teams. Facilities Manager Key Responsibilities: Facility Management: Oversee daily operations of facilities, including buildings, grounds, utilities, and infrastructure systems. Manage service contracts and vendors for facility-related services (e.g., HVAC, janitorial, landscaping, and waste disposal)

Coordinate facility improvements, expansions, and space utilization projects. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment across site. Industrial Equipment Maintenance: Lead the maintenance and repair of a wide range of industrial equipment, including: Manual and automated welding machines CNC and manual machining centers Oil flushing systems and related equipment Overhead bridge cranes and hoists Compressed air systems Develop and oversee preventive maintenance schedules to maximize equipment uptime.

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently. Maintain maintenance records and work orders using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Compliance & Safety: Ensure operations comply with OSHA, EPA, local building codes, and fire/life safety regulations.

Support EHS programs in partnership with safety and operations personnel. Support company-wide safety programs and emergency preparedness plans. Coordinate and document inspections, permits, and regulatory compliance activities.

Leadership & Coordination: Supervise and support facility and maintenance personnel across site. Assign and oversee work orders, monitor task completion, and provide hands-on support as needed. Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating service contracts and tracking performance.

Budgeting & Strategic Planning: Develop and manage facility and maintenance budget for site. Identify opportunities for cost savings, energy efficiency improvements, and equipment lifecycle planning. Participate in strategic planning related to facility layout changes, capital investments, and long-term growth.

Facilities Manager Education and Experience: 10+ years of facility or industrial maintenance management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Hands-on mechanical or electrical troubleshooting skills required. Demonstrated experience maintaining and troubleshooting welding systems, CNC machinery, cranes, compressed air systems, and oil flushing equipment.

Proven ability to manage maintenance teams and multiple facility priorities effectively. Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC) and regulatory compliance. Proficiency with CMMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Facilities Manager Preferred Qualifications: Associate's or bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Industrial Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Certifications such as CFM (Certified Facility Manager), PMP (Project Management Professional), or equivalent.
