We're looking for a hands-on Shipping Supervisor to lead daily outbound operations and keep our warehouse running smoothly. This role is critical to ensuring orders are shipped accurately, trucks are loaded efficiently, and the building is properly closed out at the end of each day.

This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (40 hours/week) and reports to the Distribution Manager.

What You'll Do


  • Oversee daily shipping operations, including truck loading and shipment verification
  • Coordinate and support routing activities to ensure timely deliveries
  • Manage end-of-day processes, including shipment closeout and securing the facility
  • Act as the on-site leader when management is unavailable
  • Troubleshoot issues such as missing items, delivery delays, and customer concerns
  • Ensure orders are accurate, complete, and shipped on time
  • Train, coach, and support team members on warehouse systems and processes
  • Partner with receiving, inventory, and operations teams to maintain workflow
  • Enforce safety standards and company policies
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency

Team Structure

  • No direct reports, but serves as a floor leader and escalation point
  • Works closely with Distribution Manager and warehouse team
  • Highly collaborative, team-oriented environment


What You Bring

  • 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution setting
  • Experience with shipping, routing, or logistics operations
  • Strong computer skills (ERP, WMS, or routing systems)
  • Ability to operate forklifts and warehouse equipment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Clear communicator with a positive, team-first leadership style
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or similar parts-based distribution industries
  • Familiarity with systems like Eclipse or Innovo
  • Experience training or mentoring employees
  • Mechanical or product knowledge (helpful but not required)
