Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Controller to oversee and optimize our production operations. This role is critical in ensuring efficient scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control across our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing environments, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of production planning and control systems.

Requirements:
  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned with customer demand and inventory levels.
  • Coordinate production workflow across multiple stages to ensure timely delivery and product quality.
  • Monitor production rates, standards, and KPIs to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure material availability and compliance with specifications.
  • Implement and oversee quality control procedures to maintain high manufacturing standards.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, forecast needs, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure optimal stock of raw materials and components. Ensure clear to build for future production.
  • ·Troubleshoot production issues and recommend process improvements to minimize downtime and waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on production performance to the Director of Manufacturing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in production control or manufacturing operations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, especially NetSuite, and production scheduling software.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Preferred Skills:

  • APICS or CPIM certification.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other quality management systems
