Job description

Robert Half's Marketing & Creative client is seeking a Production Designer for a leave coverage. This is a 40-hour-per-week, fully onsite role running from October through mid-April. Candidates must be comfortable working onsite Monday through Friday. Our client develops product sampling and marketing materials for customers within the building products industry and is seeking a detail-oriented Production Designer to support a busy creative and production team. This role will focus on the execution and preparation of print and production-ready materials, ensuring projects are completed accurately, on time, and in alignment with client expectations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update a variety of printed marketing and sales support materials.
  • Create production-ready layouts based on provided creative direction, content, and project specifications.
  • Prepare artwork and files for print production across multiple formats and applications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to review projects, incorporate feedback, and support approval processes.
  • Assist with production workflows, file organization, and project coordination activities.
  • Ensure design files meet quality standards and production requirements.
  • Support color consistency and accuracy across print and production materials.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide additional production and marketing support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of production design, graphic production, or related experience.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience developing print-ready files and supporting production workflows.
  • Strong understanding of layout, design execution, and file preparation.
  • Familiarity with color management, print processes, and production standards.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with project management tools is a plus.
  • Self-motivated team player with strong communication skills.
