Job description

Topsider Homes (located in Clemmons, NC), designer and fabricator of high-end, custom post and beam residential homes (not mobile or modular) sold and shipped in component form worldwide since 1968, seeks a motivated individual for a Truss Department Foreman position.

TITLE: Truss Department Foreman
COMPENSATION: From $21/hr to start, based on experience and qualifications.
REPORT TO: Manufacturing Manager
EDUCATION:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of five (5) years timber framing, woodworking, furniture manufacturing, cabinet making or similar experience.
  • Candidates must have expert level knowledge of table saws, radial arm saws and panel saws and working with and assembling roof and floor trusses.
  • Ability to read tape measures, shop drawings and cut lists is a requirement.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have a stable work background, have good communication skills and be good at math and paperwork - and certified (or certifiable) to operate a forklift.

WORK SCHEDULE:
  • Normal work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, plus additional time as required to meet workload demands.

BENEFITS:
