A brief summary

We are looking for a Production Coordinator with a drive to deliver and an exacting attention to detail to join the Gravity Media production team stationed within Riot Games facility. Your aim will be to ensure accurate delivery of service, everything from hotel, travel, catering, studio/talent needs to supporting the Senior Production Coordinator, Production Manager, and Producer circles for League of Legends and Valorant events (among others).

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in forward planning and execute their day-to-day duties with care and consideration. They will need to be a clear and confident communicator, be able to adapt quickly to both production and on-air changes and remain calm under pressure.

The Production Coordinator will be an integral part of the companyโ€™s Production team and will take guidance and report to the Service Delivery Manager at the Remote Broadcast Center. The position is based in the greater Seattle area. The position may require travel on occasion.

The successful candidate will be assigned as on-site Gravity staff embedded at the Riot Gamesโ€™ Remote Broadcast Center. They will work across the live esport broadcasts focusing on championships and tournaments from around the world. The Production Coordinator will be working with the latest technology in one of the most advanced Remote Broacast Centers in the world.


What youโ€™ll be responsible for

  • Working with other crew members, inputting, and maintaining the master calendar of events
  • which include event productions and crewing schedules.
  • Manage administrative tasks associated with events/productions.
  • Booking of travel and accommodation.
  • High availability after-hours, and on-call for emergencies - role includes weekend work.
  • Liaising with relevant in-house stakeholders and securing, managing, scheduling, and updating needs for the broadcast, broadly in the areas of catering, travel, and accommodation.
  • Ensuring the specialist dietary needs of visiting crews are catered for.
  • Ensuring any special dietary meals are ring fenced.
  • Proactive action in anticipating changes and adjustments in needs of the broadcast and gallery team.
  • Preparing draft call sheets for review.
  • Arrive before the core call time to ensure the site is ready for the dayโ€™s broadcast.
  • Coordinate local shuttle bus/taxi collections.
  • Printing and distribution of call sheets.
  • Production assistant duties i.e., being the go-to person for facility and administrative needs that arise on broadcast days.
  • Support to talent/presenters - meet and greet/offering assistance.
  • Onboard, Schedule, and Manage onsite PA's along with fostering a learning environment for them.
  • Ensuring any feedback or notes from Producing circle are implemented for next dayโ€™s broadcast.
  • Performing regular reporting on performance of the Center by identifying and tracking data for KPIs.
  • Create event status reports and welcome decks for events/live shows.
  • Log and report all show incidents for retro review/future planning.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.



This role is for you if

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience managing data entry and competency in Excel and Google sheets.
  • Demonstration of previous experience of some of the duties and responsibilities outlined in this job description.
  • Previous experience as a Production Coordinator, or a Production Assistant for 1-2 years in broadcast.
  • Solid planning and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail - take pride in representing accurate data with an acute attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of broadcast production is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Photoshop and Graphic Design Tools.
  • Previous mentoring of Production Assistants or Runners.
  • A background in hospitality โ€“ (i.e., cafes, restaurants, or hotels) is desirable but not necessary.
