We are looking for a Production Coordinator to join our team in Martinsburg, WV. The Production Coordinator’s prime objective is to manage the day-to-day operation of the production department, meeting quantity and quality of products within specifications and costs as set by the plant objectives.

About the Role 

Responsibilities:

  • Set objectives, guidelines, procedures, and priorities and define key programs and
  • schedules during day-to-day operations and equipment shutdowns.
  • Establish jobs or tasks necessary to comply with his/her section’s objectives and define
  • them complete with instructions, technical specifications, and environmental compliance
  • policies as applicable.
  • Manage, direct, and coordinate overall activities of the department and interaction with
  • other departments.
  • Promote safety by ensuring tailgate and safety meetings are held, developing the proper
  • safety procedures, wearing required safety equipment, and following proper working
  • environment and conditions.
  • Participate in defining Production Department objectives and strategies.
  • Mentor and coach operators in both technical and supervisory development.
  • Establish and maintain communication within the department so there is continuity
  • between different production teams.
