Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate customer orders from receipt through shipment and invoicing

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for customer operational needs

  • Proactively communicate issues, changes, and updates to customers and internal teams

Job description

Are you the person everyone relies on when something absolutely cannot fall through the cracks?

Do you naturally spot problems before they become emergencies?

When something is delayed, missed, or doesn't seem right, are you the person who starts asking:

• Are we ready to execute?

• Does everyone know what needs to happen next?

• Has the customer been informed?

• What needs to be done to get this back on track?

If that sounds like the way your mind works, keep reading.

We are a growing packaging company that manufactures powdered products. We are looking for a Sales Operations Coordinator who will become the central point of coordination between our customers, sales team, production, warehouse, quality department, and accounting team.

This is not a role for someone who simply processes paperwork.

This is a role for someone who takes ownership.

Once a customer places a purchase order, you become one of the key people responsible for ensuring that everything needed to fulfill that order happens on time, accurately, and with clear communication. You will serve as the voice of the customer internally and the voice of our company back to the customer on day-to-day operational matters.

When things are running smoothly, you'll help keep them that way.

When things aren't running smoothly, you'll identify issues early, coordinate the right people, communicate clearly, and help drive resolution before customers are negatively impacted.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Coordinating customer orders from receipt through shipment and invoicing

• Ensuring materials, inventory, production schedules, and shipping plans remain aligned

• Serving as the primary day-to-day contact for customer operational needs

• Proactively communicating issues, changes, and updates to customers and internal teams

• Coordinating production, inventory, shipping, QA, and invoicing reporting

• Managing billing accuracy, pricing updates, credits, rebates, and related documentation

• Coordinating customer audits, onsite visits, and follow-up action items

• Driving follow-up and accountability when issues threaten customer commitments

You Will Thrive in This Role If You:

• Take ownership of outcomes instead of waiting for direction

• Are highly organized and detail-oriented

• Can manage multiple priorities without losing accuracy

• Communicate confidently and professionally with both customers and internal teams

• Follow through relentlessly until issues are resolved

• Enjoy bringing order and clarity to complex situations

This Role Is Probably Not For You If You:

• Prefer to work only within your assigned tasks

• Avoid difficult conversations or uncomfortable situations

• Need constant direction or reminders

• Become overwhelmed by competing priorities

• Struggle balancing urgency with accuracy

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary DOE

• Health Insurance

• 401(k)

• Paid Time Off

If you enjoy being the person who keeps customers informed, teams aligned, and commitments on track—and you take pride in making sure details don't get missed—we'd love to hear from you.
