Job description

Summary:

Check the customer's production plan and establish a seat production plan. Communicate with related departments to check production plans to ensure there are no problems with the customer's schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:

  • Establishment of car seat / foam pad production plan.
  • Maintain appropriate product inventory.
  • Customer production plan analysis and progress management.
  • Process monthly sales closing in SAP and TGPS to consistency of payments from customers.
  • Communicate and deal with customers to meet their requirements.
  • Manage the timing of application of design changes and hold meetings with relevant departments when necessary.
  • Support TGPS or SAP for any issues or new implementation of SAP PP module production planning system.
  • Support and adhere to 5S to keep work site clean and orderly consistently improving appearance of the team’s area. Active in following 5s—Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain organization of work area.
  • Collaborate with Team Members, Team Leaders, Group Leaders and/or other members of Hyundai Transys to be active contributors to the team.
  • Follow requirements of Quality policies and standards, such as, ISO 9001, TS16949, IATF16949
  • Attending all required training as assigned.
  • Comply with and promote company practices and policies in all areas including Safety, Standards of Conduct, Quality, Performance, and Communication.
  • Be flexible in work to support continuous improvement activities that will ensure personal and company growth.
  • Temporary rotating 2nd shift work may be required depending on plant operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.



REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

Technical Skills Required:

  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with all suppliers.
  • Must have excellent multitasking skills.
  • Must have strong ability to quickly prioritize situations and mitigate all issues.
  • Proficient skills in math, reading and writing.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Must have strong computer skills – Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP
  • Strong SAP experience required.

Working Experience Required:

  • At least 5yrs + progressive experience in the Production/Material Control field in a manufacturing environment preferably within the automotive industry, or equivalent experience
  • Bilingual (Korean/English)

Education:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Production Control, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics preferred
