The Position:

Reporting to the Site Services Supervisor, the primary duties of this job include but are not limited to:

  • Operating mobile equipment such as loaders, sanders, tandem dump trucks, bulldozers, graders, flatbed trucks, slurry lime trucks, water trucks and other equipment as required;
  • Must communicate effectively with plant personnel, Control room(s), railway and other co-workers to ensure the movement of materials occurs safely and efficiently;
  • Must ensure that all equipment is used in a safe and efficient manner, following Standard Operating Procedures and safety requirements.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Be able to work shift work rotations to meet the company business requirements and demands.
  • Possess a valid Ontario's driver's license.
  • DZ License and/or Heavy Equipment operation experience
  • Must be physically fit to be able to handle heavy work, climb stairs, equipment ladders and work outside in all seasons.
  • Complete or have recently completed CAAT and DAT testing in a satisfactory manner and pass a pre-employment medical. Complete or have recently completed CAAT and DAT testing in a satisfactory manner.
