Production Control Coordinator: Beloit, Wisconsin
Our client in Beloit, Wisconsin is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join their team as a Production Control Coordinator. This is a full-time, 1st shift opportunity working closely with both office and production teams to support scheduling, inventory, and overall production flow.
Responsibilities of the Production Control Coordinator:
  • Distribute production schedules or work orders to departments.
  • Revise production schedules as needed due to changes in design, materials, labor, or production interruptions, coordinating with management, sales, production, and engineering.
  • Review production schedules, work orders, and staffing plans to determine material and personnel requirements and priorities.
  • Coordinate delivery, assembly, or distribution of materials and parts to ensure production deadlines are met.
  • Requisition and maintain inventory levels to support production demands.
  • Communicate with department supervisors to assess progress, resolve issues, and implement necessary changes.
  • Compile and track production data including rates, progress, inventory levels, and material usage.
  • Monitor materials, documents, and work processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to production sequences, staffing schedules, and purchase or maintenance orders.
  • Communicate with suppliers to confirm shipment details and timelines.
  • Record production metrics such as output, raw material usage, and quality control measures.
  • Assist in developing product construction details, including tools, materials, labor needs, and cost projections.
  • Maintain files such as time sheets and work order reporting.
  • Support inventory activities on the production floor and gain familiarity with manufacturing processes.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Production Control Coordinator Requirements and Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of general office experience (manufacturing environment preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing support or materials handling.
  • Previous experience in purchasing (Purchasing Clerk or Assistant) is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills, including accurate keyboarding.
  • Experience with Sage and Provision systems preferred.
  • Post-secondary coursework or certification in materials management is a plus.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods (up to 4 hours at a time).
  • Occasionally lift or carry items up to 20–30 lbs.
  • Ability to reach overhead and bend when filing or accessing materials.
  • Willingness to spend time on the production floor for inventory and process understanding.
Pay for Production Control Coordinator: Starting at $18-24/hour.
