Job Summary:

The Inventory Controls Supervisoris responsible foroverseeing all inventory control processes within thelogisticsdepartment to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with company standards. This role leadsthe shipping & receiving processesand cycle counting activities, investigates inventory discrepancies andphysical inventories,and partners withmaterial handling, production,quality assurance, procurement,and finance teams tomaintaininventory accuracyand operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily inventory control operations within theinventory controldepartment(Inventory Control Coordinators, Logistics Coordinators, and Receiving Team Leader).
  • Lead and coordinate cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliations.
  • Lead the investigation ofand resolve inventory discrepanciesand perform root cause analysis.
  • Ensureaccurateinventory transactions in ERP/WMS systems.
  • Develop andmaintaininventory control procedures and audit processes.
  • MonitorinventoryaccuracyKPIs and report results to leadership.
  • Champion the weekly Approaching Expiration / Inventory Control meeting (rework and hold review).
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on inventory processes.
  • Train and develop inventory,logisticsandmaterial handlingpersonnel.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, FIFO, lot tracking, and traceability requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Supervise inventory controlcoordinators,logisticscoordinators, shipping & receiving and material handling staff as applicable.
  • Provide coaching, performance management, and development planning.
  • Ensureappropriate staffingcoverage.
  • Serve as the deputy of the Inventory Control Manager in his/her absence as thego-to person for inventory and material handling issues.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • High school diplomarequired;Associate's or Bachelor'sdegree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of inventory control or warehouse experience.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Powered Industrial Vehicle Train the Trainer Certification.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control and warehouse operations.
  • Experience with ERP/WMS systems.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience, education, licensure(s), specialized certification(s).

Working Conditions:

  • Manufacturing and warehousesettingwith varying temperatures(ambient, cooler, and freezer)and noise levels.
  • May require schedule flexibility, including weekends during inventory periods.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability tolift upto 25-50 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to work inwarehouseand production environments.
  • Operateall powered industrial vehiclesutilizedatthebakery location to the level of expert/trainer.
