Role Responsibilities
  • Execute production control activities, including planning, inventory control, material coordination, and shop floor control to support manufacturing operations.
  • Maintain and manage work order release schedules to ensure materials are available on time for manufacturing and engineering.
  • Perform pre-shortage analysis and resolve material constraints to improve component availability at release.
  • Review and manage MRP execution, ensuring system accuracy by reconciling supply and demand, validating schedules, and maintaining data integrity.
  • Support engineering change processes by reviewing and ensuring proper disposition of ECOs/ECRs and tracking status.
  • Partner with Finance and manufacturing teams to conduct floor audits, resolve WIP issues, and provide updates on material shortages and commit dates.
  • Analyze inventory usage and stock levels to maintain appropriate inventory, expedite shortages, and support forecasted demand.
  • Investigate material variances, identify root causes, and implement or escalate corrective actions as needed.
  • Support process control activities, including cycle counting and continuous improvement initiatives based on metrics and reporting.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support material needs for special projects.
  • Cross-train with the Repair Coordinator to provide coverage, working independently and collaboratively to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Perform occasional physical tasks such as lifting, moving materials, and supporting shop floor activities as needed.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-4 years of experience in production control, materials planning, inventory control, or related operations roles.
  • Hands-on experience with production control and materials management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (SAP experience highly preferred).
  • Familiarity with MRP systems, inventory management, and shop floor control processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage data and resolve material or process issues.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating and cross-covering responsibilities with team members.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey material status and operational updates.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment, including occasional physical activity (lifting, moving materials, standing for extended periods).
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain system/data accuracy.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
