Job description

Production Control Expeditor

AdvancedPCB is seeking a reliable, motivated Production Control Expeditor to join our growing company. The Production Control Expeditor is responsible for ensuring customer jobs are processed through manufacturing in a timely manner.

Essential Job Function:

  • Follow and ensure team members are following department hot lists.
  • Follow and ensure team members are using the daily Focus list to meet commitments.
  • Update department dashboards to ensure priorities are aligned with Focus List and Department Priority goals.
  • Communicate all order updates to Production Control, Supervisors and Department Leads.
  • Participate in Pass Down meetings to update product status.
  • Support production as required by assisting some processes; for example, Hole Checker, Final Clean, Packaging & Shipping counter to counter deliveries, Operating the Pumice Scrubber, Releasing Materials, Tooling Inner Layers, Stripping Tin, Dry Film or Solder mask, etc.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position requiring available to work during standard business hours and mandatory weekend overtime when needed to meet production goals. Shifts may include weekends, when schedule details are provided in advance.

Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications, Education and Experience:

  • Qualifications to perform this job successfully, an individual must have a minimum of 3 years of PCB manufacturing or Production Planning experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience in the PCB Industry.
  • 1 year experience using Shop Floor Tracking Systems, such as, Bacon ERP system or similar.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Must understand standard manufacturing process steps.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced, time sensitive, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent computer skills required.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift to 25lbs
  • Ability to stand/walk throughout an 8โ€“10-hour shift. Ability to walk on uneven surface.
  • Vision skills used for near and far, at times may be used to view product through an eye loop or microscope.

Compensation:

California Pay Range: $19.00 - $30 per hour USD | DOE

The actual compensation offered is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.
