The Inventory Control Auditor is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels across the Kansas City location. This role conducts regular cycle counts, investigates discrepancies, and ensures efficient material flow to support production operations. The position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency with inventory systems, and the ability to collaborate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams. Safe operation of powered industrial equipment is required for accessing inventory at elevated heights. 

Work Schedule:

  • Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm
Highlights of your role
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of materials for production. 
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to verify accuracy. 
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records. 
  • Ability to safely use a Motorized Industrial Man Up Picker to count parts in top levels of warehouse (heights could be in excess of 15+ feet) 
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to manage inventory movements. 
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and areas for improvement. 
  • Promote a culture of safety and integrity by reporting hazards and participating in training initiatives. 
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
  • High School diploma or GED required. 
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. 
  • Proficiency with Enterprise Asset Management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. 
  • Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment and obtain necessary certifications (forklift, aerial lift). 
  • Comfortable working at heights (15+ feet) and lifting up to 30 lbs. 
  • Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
