Rand Technology is growing and we are looking for a Quality Control and Test Lab Associate to join our Warehouse team in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate is detailed, highly organized and familiar with inspection and quality processes. 


Role Summary

The Quality Control and Test Lab Associate is responsible for conducting quality control inspection and component testing required by the customer or per our standard procedure. Identifies product non-conformances from quality inspection and from tests conducted. Reports product issues related to the inspected and tested parts.

Essential Functions

  • Match incoming parts to purchase/sales order and customer requirements.
  • Stock incoming product which is not for shipment.
  • Verify product against manufacturer’s datasheet specifications.
  • Input actual product information into receiving system.
  • Process and report non-conforming product in line with quality management system.
  • Label conforming product for packaging according to customer requirements.
  • Analyze test result and provide recommendations, as needed.
  • Compare inspection and test results with internal reference. 
  • Generate inspection and test report. 
  • Pull stock for shipping for verification.
  • Fill out inspection checklist and upload test results in our system.
  • Adhere to compliance ANSI ESD S20.20 requirements. 
  • Operate warehouse tools/equipment.
  • Work as a proactive team member to reach goals and KPI’s.

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience Requirements

  • Able to read and interpret test result.
  • Outstanding written, verbal communication skills and proficiency in English.
  • Can communicate in Dutch is a plus.
  • Intermediate level experience in Microsoft Word/Excel and inventory software skills.
  • Flexible in working overtime as needed.
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office application.
  • Knowledge in manufacturing process or equivalent is a plus.
  • Engineering background is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable and experience working in ANSI/ESD-, ISO 9001- and ISO 14001-certified environment.
