Job description

Are you ready to bring your clerical/planning skills to a team that values precision and innovation? At Martin Sprocket & Gear, we’re dedicated to producing quality mechanical power transmission components, material handling systems, and custom forgings with excellence, and we're looking for skilled Coordinators like you!

What You’ll Do:

  • Coordinate work orders: Manage and prioritize work orders as they transition into production, ensuring timely and efficient workflow alignment with production schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels: Track and maintain inventory according to established manufacturing forecasts to meet production demands and prevent shortages or excess stock.
  • Support production team: Perform general clerical tasks, including documentation and data entry, to support the production team and maintain organized records.
  • Assist as needed: Support additional tasks or assist other departments as required to facilitate smooth production operations.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Manufacturing experience: 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment, with expertise in planning, purchasing, production control, or expediting preferred.
  • Technical proficiency: Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
  • Communication skills: Excellent English proficiency in both verbal and written communication. Spanish as a second language is a plus.
  • Organizational abilities: Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong clerical skills for managing documentation and workflows.
  • Multitasking in dynamic environments: Proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Confidentiality: Skilled at managing sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
  • Team collaboration: Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to build effective working relationships.
  • Work environment adaptability: Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled shop environment.
  • Safety compliance: Ability to use and wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Your Schedule:

  • 1st Shift, Monday – Friday,  6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
