Job description

This role is temporary and could last anywhere from 2 to 6 months. However, if selected for this role, the candidate will be eligible to go into another position within the organization.

REPORTS TO:         Production Control Manager
CLASSIFICATION:  Exempt 
 
About the role

Oversee the entire manufacturing process such as shipments and other operational processes that require significant diligence.
Responsibilities 

·       Prepare all required reports and correspondence.
·       Identify, document, and implements opportunities for continuous improvement.
·       Ensures accuracy for scheduling of production and packaging operations.
·       Effective utilization of team members within the materials/logistics group.
·       Supervises warehouse team members (Forklift Drivers/Line Operators/Supervisors/Team Leaders/Dock Coordinators)
·       Evaluate the efficiency and productivity of team members by establishing performance standards and objectives.
·       Assist with conducting regular performance appraisals.
·       Ensures all EHS, C-TPAT and IATF regulations are adhered to.
·       Perform other managerial tasks assigned by Production Control Manager/Plant Manager.
Essential Skills

·       Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required.
·       5 to 7 years related experience or equivalent.
·       Excellent written and oral communication skills.
·       Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating team members.
·       Strong organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal and analytical skills.
·       Must be proficient in MS Office and experience in MFG/Software Programs.
·       Proven ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills

·       Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing and fast paced work environment.
·       Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
·       Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
