Our client, the world's leading entertainment streaming service, is looking for a Manager, Production Finance.

This is an on-site, 8-month contract. You must be able and authorized to work in Los Angeles, CA, and must not hold H-1B visa status. The hourly rate is $88.94; benefits are available through Talent Table. No C2C.

Position Overview:

This Production Finance Manager position will be based in the Client's Los Angeles office, supporting the Production Finance executives and working primarily with U.S.-based production services companies. This role will support the Live Sports and Entertainment creative content team.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with other executives to oversee third-party production services companies, producers, and accountants.
  • Communicate effectively with a range of Production Services companies with different areas of expertise.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with numerous other teams, including Production, Creative, Business Affairs, Post-Production, Content Accounting, HR, Labor Relations, Audit, Treasury, and IT.
  • Work with production services companies and show accountants on a day-to-day basis to drive accurate, complete, and timely cost reporting, protect show assets, and support production.
  • Conduct budget review, commentary, comparisons, and analysis. Manage the budget lock and tracking process. Analyze and track overages.
  • Review and analyze cost reports submitted by production companies.
  • Manage the cash flow and funding processes, and track and ensure receipt of tax incentives.
  • Update production information in internal systems.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Adjust policies and procedures based on workflow changes and feedback.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of production finance and/or production accounting experience.
  • Expertise in entertainment industry budgeting and cost-tracking software.
  • Candidates must thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Must possess a high level of intellectual curiosity with a focus on generating results.
  • High aptitude and enthusiasm for complex problem-solving and analysis utilizing financial applications.
  • Must be self-motivated, disciplined, highly organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Degree in accounting or finance preferred.
