Job description

The battery assembler will be responsible for assembling battery system, components, and sub-assemblies individually, and assembling these into the battery container. The assembler will use various equipment and tools to maneuver components and test components to verify proper operation and safety.


  • A minimum high school diploma
  • Previous work experience with electrical systems or certification in electrical or mechanical field helpful
  • Mechanical and technical skills aptitude
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 35 pounds
  • Must be able to stand or kneel in small places for long period of time
  • Must be able to read English
  • Must be able to read and use a tape measure for both metrics and imperial units
  • Must be able to see colors for operator and equipment safeyt
  • Must have dexterity with hands
  • Must be a critical thinker
  • Must be able to work in a warm environment and outdoors as required
  • Must be able to work from a ladder and/or at heights up to 15' from ground level

  • Assembles the containerized battery and inspects to assembly requirements
