Job Description

The Production Associate plays an integral role in allowing each event to come to life for JAM clients! The Production Associate is responsible for managing events from a front-facing, client side, as well as managing the event from a production side. The Production Coordinator manages events from start to finish, ensuring participants receive a great experience.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with clients to determine their event preferences and needs via email, video conferencing, and telephone
  • Obtaining client feedback post-event and addressing any negative or constructive feedback
  • Understanding each JAM event inside and out and how they run
  • Creating and executing high-quality events which provide an elevated level of entertainment and fun for participants
  • Order & manage event equipment & materials
  • Planning and monitoring all logistics for events.
  • Work closely with event staffto ensure successful execution of each event. This includes coaching, providing feedback, communicating event updates, and assisting with live event inquiries.
  • Create event materials and update resources required for the successful execution of JAM events
  • Coordinate with all key event vendors (venues, caterers, rentals, and entertainment) to lock down all key event details.
  • Hosting in-person and remote events as required.
  • Assisting the sports side of JAM with various tasks as needed.
  • Other duties as required


QUALIFICATIONS

  • University or College degree in Marketing or Business preferred
  • 1-3 years' experience in Marketing, Events or Customer Service
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.
  • Strong communicationand interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and with clients.
  • Creative problem-solver with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
  • A valid G driver's license is required
  • Willingness to support other teammates with problem-solving, additional training, or providing feedback in a professional and composed manner
  • Experience withMicrosoft Office andGoogle Suite (Google Sheets, Slides, Docs).

EXPECTED HOURS & REMOTE WORK

  • You will be working20 hoursper week.
  • During event busy season, hours can be increased between 30-40 hours
  • The majority of your time, you will be working 9:00 am-5:00 pm ET.
  • You will be required to work shifted hours for tournaments, events & partnership events.
  • This is a hybrid role. You will be expected to comeintothe head officelocatedat Mount Pleasant and Eglinton to prepare and plan for events, but there is an opportunity to work from home on dayswhenphysical event prep is not required.

COMPENSATION

  • $20 CAD per hour
