Hours & Work Schedule:

The hours are Monday - Friday, from 7:30am - 3:30pm, occasional weekend work and overtime is required.

Job Summary:

The Production Associate is responsible for a variety of different production duties within Tribe 9 Foods. This role will be responsible for operating a production line to fulfill production requirements. The position must have high attention to detail and work at a fast pace in order to meet their key performance indicators safely and accurately.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Operate production stations sort and stack finished products on any line
  • Communicate any problem or changes in production or quality to supervisor or lead personnel
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for line equipment and complete cleaning as needed
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) while in all production areas
  • Responsible for checking the quality of products placed on the line
  • Assure production runs efficiently and safely
  • Assist with documenting and reporting production logs
  • Ensure all proper quality procedures are followed
  • Clean machine, wipe conveyor belt and other daily and weekly clean up responsibilities
  • Participate in continuous improvement process
  • This position is also called upon to perform other duties not specifically outlined by this job posting

Job Requirements:

Specific qualifications for the role include:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Food industry experience is a plus
  • Communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours as required
  • Must be able to work in a facility that handles allergens

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is subject to standing for prolonged periods; frequently walks, grasps, lifts, holds, or feels objects; occasionally stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. The employee frequently is required to use manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination when working and handling products, computers, or machinery. The employee is subject to assist and support up to 50 pounds with varying amounts of assistance on a as needed basis. The employee is required to have corrected vision and hearing within normal range and the ability to operate equipment if required. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and non-moving mechanical parts. The employee could have work conditions that are extremely cold or extremely hot. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
