Job description

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Position Summary

Directs the daily activities of the production team, ensures quality processes, and standards. May lead the team in the development of the new production developments. Provides hiring, promotion, and disciplinary action recommendations, as well as performance evaluation and feedback for direct reports.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Work flow - directs the efforts of assigned personnel to facilitate the orderly flow of products to meet output goals, throughput times, and inventory levels established by production plans.
  • Manages the demand/pull and Kanban in conjunction with the production control schedule assigned to the product.
  • Work Assignments - Participates in the selection, training and motivation of employees to insure proper staffing and production levels of areas assigned. Makes specific work assignment as required to meet production demands, maintain equipment utilization, quality levels, and efficient labor utilization.
  • Product Quality - works with Quality Control to establish and maintain acceptable levels of product quality. Facilitates problem-solving programs and corrective action plans as required.
  • Personnel Issue - make periodic evaluation of employees and maintain necessary support data for some.
  • Ensure that fair and consistent practices are followed in conjunction with the Personnel Department and establish plant guidelines and practices.
  • Labor Reporting - Performs necessary analysis to ensure the accuracy and validity of all labor reporting in assigned areas.
  • Develop and maintain all necessary data to support the appraisal review program.
  • Employee Safety - responsible for housekeeping, safety training, safety communication and employee compliance with all safety rules and practices.
  • Planning - participates with the product managers in recommending staffing, spending, and equipment.
  • Facilitates problem-solving teams and formulates corrective action plans.
  • Implements company policies and procedures in a consistent manner to insure fairness to all employees..

Required Education / Experience / Skills:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Any applicable certifications will be a plus to this position.
  • Experience in the Aerospace industry is a plus
  • General understanding and working knowledge of Bearings and special processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Strong work ethic, and attention to detail
