We are looking for a Production Associate to join our team! This candidate will be trained to assemble products for COTS, military and aerospace applications. You will ensure the quality of the product being assembled and the reliability of final product.

Primary Objective of Position

Responsible for using components and parts to produce products for delivery. Reads and interprets blueprints, positions parts, minor mechanical assemblies and examines connections for correct fit.

Essential Functions:

  • Study and interpret assembly instructions.
  • Assemble components accurately, thoroughly, and quickly to approved specifications.
  • Double-check connections, glue and conformal coating, any special processes required to ensure quality and record any discrepancies.
  • Determine if all parts are present.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and sketches.
  • Read parts list.
  • Aware of ESD and FOD requirements for assembly.
  • Assemble tools and materials.
  • Positions parts and subassemblies.
  • Assemble components.
  • Ensure all parts are fitted and screwed in properly.
  • Report assembly and production issues to supervisor.
  • Documents actions by completing production assembly.
  • Ensure the working environment is clean and safe.
  • Report errors in product line.
  • Complete quality control forms.
  • Participates in team meetings.
  • Build positive work relationships.
  • Ability to cross train with other stations and increase movement of final product.

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Required to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident

  • Must possess manual dexterity skills
  • Perform routine housekeeping to ensure the area operates within parameters that conform to environmental and safety standards

Additionally, the Assembler employee will frequently handle and grasp items being assembled, using small hand tools or power tools to accomplish pre-assembly, assembly or finish work. Fine motor skills are used on a regular basis. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds individually, Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
