Responsibilities
• Inspecting film and bags for color variation, width, length, seal strength and visual defects.
• Complete accurate quality checks and required paperwork on a timely basis.
• Packing film and bags in cartons, according to workorder specifications.
• Verify weights and counts of product, while maintaining correct carton and skid counts.
• Weigh and manage scrap.
• Responsible for maintaining work station in a clean well-organized manner.
• All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• 2-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work 12-hour shifts.
• Attendance and punctuality are crucial aspects of this position.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team setting.
• Ability to communicate and work well with others.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and packaging specifications.
• Ability to effectively communicate and present findings to a wide variety of audiences
