Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of Manufacturing and or Mechanical experience preferred
  • Knowledge and use of hand tools required
  • Quality-minded and eye for detail

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Inspection and testing of previous installed components on incoming boats for mechanical and quality issues that need to be addressed
  • Completion of testing and inspections reports documented
  • Installation of components based on instructions from work orders
  • Installation of engines, controls, steering, and gauges
  • Use of mounting jigs and drill fixtures wherever needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Continually required to stand and or walk as needed to perform duties
  • Occasionally required to lift 50 lb.
  • Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl

Competencies:

  • Mechanical aptitude This operation assembles and installs the various parts of the boat using adhesives and mechanical fasteners. Assemblers must have the ability to properly use hand tools, air tools, cordless drills, etc. A large part of this job requires precise mechanical assembly which can include building and installing consoles, windshields, console rails, T-tops, swim platforms, cushions, Bimini tops, stereos, and speakers.

Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent;
