Position Summary

Production Associates are responsible for packaging ingredients and preparing pallets for warehousing and distribution. The position also requires the sanitization of all processing equipment at startup, throughout production, and at the conclusion of each workday.

Key Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Set up production equipment according to established specifications and operational requirements.
  • Operate equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures to accurately scale and process raw materials.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials after use in compliance with food safety standards.
  • Manually pack finished products and palletize for storage and/or distribution.
  • Wash, rinse, and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas in accordance with established sanitation procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment at all times.
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and food safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist in daily manufacturing operations to ensure production goals are met.

Back-Up Roles and Coverage

  • Production Associates are responsible for supporting the daily operations of the manufacturing process.
  • In the absence of a Production Associate, assistance may be requested from management as needed.
  • When necessary, a temporary staffing employee may be assigned to fulfill the responsibilities of an absent Production Associate.
