Job description

VGM Fulfillment is a national leader in CPAP machine and resupply order fulfillment. As an employee-owned company, every person at VGM has a personal stake in seeing business succeed. We do this by taking responsibility from our customers for the key operations of order fulfillment: picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management. Our network of fulfillment centers is strategically located throughout the United States providing coverage to all 50 states. This role needs to be present onsite at our warehouse location in Waterloo, Iowa.

Position Summary: Replenishment Associates are responsible for moving products to the proper location within the warehouse. It is important to make sure that all products, in the correct amount, are where they are supposed to be. Associates will do active replenishments on the scanner regularly, as well as consolidating any extra product on the floor as to clean up clutter and be more efficient.  

Functions of the Replenishment Associate role will include operating a forklift, reach truck, or electric pallet jack. Operation of this equipment is considered safety-sensitive falls within the parameters of VGM Fulfillment’s Drug-free Workplace Policy.

Reporting Accountability: Site Manager, Supervisor & Team Lead 

Working Location: On-site at our Waterloo, Iowa warehouse location  

Work Hours Classification: Full-time, 3:00pm-11:30pm Monday - Friday (2nd shift) 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Consistently keep up with replenishment requests on the scanner
  • Frequently consolidate overflow on the floor as to keep clutter down and product stocked
  • Make sure all roller racks are full
  • Operating material handling devices like forklifts, following safety procedures, maintaining precise records of all product movements, and implementing quality control measures are crucial. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working with others of varying backgrounds.
  • Handle radio calls regarding replenishing product
  • Be available to come in early and stay late as needed to provide adequate support to the business.
  • Maintain a clean and safety work environment to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Maintain compliance, safety, and quality standards by ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Set a positive example through personal attendance and time management.
  • Be willing and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment to support business objectives.
  • Demonstrate accurate verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work cooperatively in a team environment to achieve business goals and growth opportunities
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to assist with other departmental functions upon request.
  • Maintain a clear and organized work environment by ensuring all work areas are kept tidy and free of hazards by regularly cleaning and organizing tools, equipment, and materials.

Key Qualifications: 

  • Some warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
  • Willing to work overtime if needed, including Saturdays and a few extra hours during the week.
  • High school diploma or GED

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the facility a majority of the day
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and slide product and equipment typically weigh up to 15lbs, and some weighing up to 30lbs.
  • Operation of warehouse machinery and equipment (e.g., carts, hand trucks, forklifts, reach trucks, etc.)
  • Visual abilities to include reading, distance vision and peripheral vision
